Transtrend supports education for secondary school children, with a focus on quantitative education.
Transtrend supports initiatives that promote education. Firstly, because inspiring education has enabled us to do the work we are doing; and secondly, Transtrend would not be able to sustain without well-educated professionals. As Transtrend’s roots are quant-oriented, we focus our efforts on quantitative education.

Transtrend is the main sponsor of the "Landelijke Interuniversitaire Mathematische Olympiade" (LIMO), an annual competition in which small teams of students from Dutch or Flemish universities are given three hours to solve a number of math problems. Our task for the 2022 edition of this competition:
For how many of the numbers 1 to 1000 holds: c(2n) = c(n) + 1, where c(n) is defined as the sum of the digits of the number n.
Ìn the Netherlands, secondary school children write a thesis for their final school project — their "profielwerkstuk". We are very proud of Femke, who has successfully completed her profielwerkstuk on "higher dimensional tic-tac-toe" with support of Transtrend, and managed to win the Pythagoras PWS prize 2021. This is the prize for the best math-oriented profielwerkstuk of the year. Listen to her story (in Dutch) here:
Let us remember: one book, one pen, one child and one teacher can change the world.
The Dutch Mathematical Olympiad is an annual contest for secondary school students. From the winners of the three national rounds teams are selected and intensively trained to represent The Netherlands at three international mathematical contests, such as the International Mathematical Olympiad (IMO).
For young talented students, the road towards such a contest is a once in a lifetime experience. We support paving that road.
Spectrum Multimedia & IT offers a safe and structured working environment for (young) adults with autism and a normal or higher IQ, in the form of daytime activities or a learning/work trajectory. The focus is not on autism, but on the development potential with multimedia and IT. We support Spectrum in implementing these initiatives.
